A former paralegal at Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht has apparently reached an agreement to end her August 2020 lawsuit alleging sexual assault by a former law firm partner.

The former paralegal, Selina Kyle, had alleged that the law firm was strictly liable for the conduct of its then-partner, Donald Lewis, who allegedly grabbed her breast after she saw him masturbating in his office one weekend in July 2018. She also claimed that she was defamed by Lewis when he sought to discredit her.

Kyle, the law firm and Lewis stipulated dismissal of Kyle’s suit and all claims, counterclaims and cross claims by the parties.

Law360 broke the story.

Lewis did not immediately respond to an ABA Journal email requesting comment. He had denied Kyle’s allegations and claimed that they were initiated to discredit him for opposing financial misconduct.

Former Pierce Bainbridge name partner John Pierce also did not immediately respond to the Journal’s emailed request for comment. Nor did Lawrence M. Pearson of Wigdor, who represented Kyle.
