Global Firm Takes A Chance On A Bonus Match

What’s that over there? Could it be Clifford the Big Red Dog? Nope! It’s Clifford the Big Red Bonus! (Apologies, but things like this happen when you’re working from home and trying to keep a two-year-old entertained.)

Anyway, word on the street is that Magic Circle firm Clifford Chance is handing out bonuses to its U.S. associates, and it’s a match.

Here’s the bonus scale, in case you’ve forgotten what it looks like:

Class of 2022: $15,000 (pro-rated)
Class of 2021: $20,000
Class of 2020: $30,000
Class of 2019: $57,500
Class of 2018: $75,000
Class of 2017: $90,000
Class of 2016: $105,000
Class of 2015+: $105,000

Bonus eligibility at the firm is based on overall performance, quality of work, contributions to the firm, teamwork, and pro bono work. Associates can expect these bonuses to drop on January 13, 2023.
