Daniel Sincavage
Senior Corrections Officer Daniel Sincavage was killed in a vehicle crash on Route 47 in Maurice River Township at about 10:45 pm.
He and another officer were driving from one section of the Southern State Correctional Facility to another when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and became engulfed in flames.
Officer Sincavage had served with the New Jersey Department of Corrections for 20 years. He is survived by his wife and three children.
