money-question-mark-value-valuation-300×169For the last several years, Above the Law has partnered with our friends at Lake Whillans to ask in-house counsel and law firm attorneys to share their perspectives on third-party litigation funding. Their feedback has highlighted the practice’s evolution from a little-known tool, used mostly by small companies and firms, into an integral part of the legal ecosystem, with benefits for organizations of all sizes.

In 2022, a majority of respondents who took our survey said that litigation funding had become more important to their practice. Is that trend continuing? In a turbulent economy, as fears of a recession grow, do more attorneys consider third-party finance an effective option?

Please tell us what you think. If you’re a litigator or an in-house attorney, we invite you to take our brief, anonymous survey. Regardless of the extent of your experience with litigation finance, we want to hear from you!
