KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As months have gone by since the Super Bowl LVII, the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners said the city still owes the department $200,400 in overtime costs for officers who were working during the Super Bowl Parade.

Part of that cost includes $13,000 for a two-person security detail for Mayor Quinton Lucas that traveled with him to Arizona to watch the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles, according to KCUR.

The Kansas City Police Department has sent two letters requesting payments for the officer’s overtime, Deputy Chief Derek McCollum told KCUR. In the letter, it states the parade required 805 total law enforcement personnel – 530 on-duty and off-duty officers, and another 275 from regional agencies.

Numbers for the total cost of KCPD’s involvement in the Feb. 15 parade, which encompassed pre-dawn patrols, street closures, security, traffic direction and various other services, were not disclosed by KCPD.
