Eckert Seamans lays off business administrative professionals

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott has laid off 2% of its business administrative professionals, a law firm spokesperson told Above the Law.
No lawyers were affected, the spokesperson said.
The layoffs took place June 1 and affected employees “across our firm platform,” according to a layoffs memo obtained by Above the Law.
Eckert Seamans said it made the layoffs decision after assessing “existing and forecasted demand of our legal services.”
