— Stephanie Biderman, a New York-based legal recruiter at Major, Lindsey & Africa, in comments given to Bloomberg Law on Davis Polk’s decision to move to a mandatory four-day in-office attendance policy. Skadden announced a similar office attendance policy last month. Although firms may risk losing associates as they increase attendance requirements, Biderman told Bloomberg that for some firms, “the risk/reward analysis of the in-person training and mentorship and all of that and the culture is outweighing the risk of losing people.”
