It’s a stamp of Ruth Bader Ginsburg! From ABA Journal:

The U.S. Postal Service will soon unveil its new stamp honoring the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, which celebrates “her groundbreaking contributions to justice, gender equality and the rule of law.”
…
The stamp features an oil painting of Ginsburg in her black judicial robe and iconic white collar. Ethel Kessler, an art director for the Postal Service, designed the stamp with a portrait by Michael J. Deas. The portrait is based on a photograph by Philip Bermingham.

I’m surprised by the stylistic choices that went into the portrait selected for the stamp. There’s no doubt that they made the right decision and adorned her neck with her iconic jabot, but I must say that her visage looks a little off without a tilted crown and a very famous New Yorker on her sweater, or something just as equally gaudy and culturally appropriative:

In short, the postage stamp will fit in great with other things that bring RBG to mind: The RBG cups, the RBG sweaters, the one black friend you keep around just to say you did it — you get the idea.

For everyone else:

…you probably won’t have to worry about seeing it much. Who still sends letters anyway?
