That statement by Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis paints a clear picture of the tragedy and prevalence of racist bullshit she has to deal with. It’s the price she’s paying for the audacity of trying to maintain the sanctity of the right to vote.

Willis’s comments came during an interview at Revolt World Festival, where she shared some truly scary behavior she’s experienced. Both Willis and family members have been doxxed, with their personal information appearing on the internet. Someone even showed up to her ex-husband’s house, despite their being divorced for years. But that’s not going to stop her.

“It’s very unfair to the other people and it’s a waste of time,” Willis said. “It’s not going to stop anything that I’m doing.”

Willis also discussed House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan’s attempt to interfere in request for information on her case.

“To threaten me is a waste of time,” Willis said. “It’s not going to get anyone results. And I don’t care if it’s a member of Congress.”

“One thing that people learn about me is I’m an equal opportunity prosecutor,” she added.

A “request” she handily slapped back.
