Law firms are on pretty solid ground when they say they don’t want to support terrorism or work with people that support it.
Most major law firms are large and complex entities. And it is hard to please everyone all the time. But the choice some firms make is to manage to the interests of the attorneys and clients that are most important to them and that they can least afford to lose. Inaction may seem like the path of least resistance, but when it comes to issues like terrorism, it could be a missed opportunity for firms not to let those constituents know where they stand.
