— Alan Klinger, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan’s former co-managing partner, in comments given to Reuters on where the soon-to-dissolve Biglaw firm’s partners and associates are headed in these troubled times for the firm. Klinger will be moving to Steptoe & Johnson, where he’ll lead its labor practice. Stroock discussed a merger with Steptoe last year, but those talks weren’t fruitful. As we discussed previously, former Stroock attorneys are headed to Crowell & Moring, Hogan Lovells, Steptoe & Johnson, Squire Patton Boggs, and Thompson Coburn, among other firms.
