Sergeant Abbate,
I watched the news coverage last night, of yours and your partner’s deaths. I saw the seemingly endless motorcade of law enforcement vehicles that accompanied your bodies in those two white hearses from the Clarke County Coroner’s office to the mortuary. As I will also write in your partner’s page, I want to thank you for your service to the State of Nevada, and to the communities you both patrolled. No doubt, you both touched many lives during your careers. You need not worry. I’m sure your colleagues will take over your duties from here on. Your ODMP page doesn’t mention it, but I heard you and your partner were both fathers. I will be praying for your children, as well as the rest of your families, friends, loved ones and colleagues. Rest in peace.
