That’s why we brought on an entire law firm (!) for this episode of the Non-Eventcast podcast — to talk over how they all make technology updates, as a group.

We’ve got an attorney (Cindy Runge), a lead administrator and paralegal (Peter Fitzgerald), and even a law clerk and future lawyer (Sarah Zweerink), who all weigh in.

The group starts by talking about how they adopted case management software (4:59), including how they were able to integrate that tool with others (13:18).

After that, they talked about how they all selected and implemented a document assembly software (24:21).

Lastly, the group covered how they chose a new IT vendor, moving from an ad hoc provider, to a managed service provider (MSP) for the first time (27:56).

If you want to take a team approach to adding new software into your law firm, we’ve got the template for you. All you need to do is listen to this episode!

Feel free to also visit the Practice Management section of the Non-Event for more podcasts and commentary, along with your guide to the latest resources. (The Non-Event is supported by vendor sponsorships.)

Jared Correia, a consultant and legal technology expert, is the host of the Non-Eventcast, the featured podcast of the Above the Law Non-Event for Tech-Perplexed Lawyers.
