ATL-Legal-Tech-Non-Event-Promo-Image-1b-editThe annual March Madness brackets have just been filled out, but there’s another important selection process going on every day in law firms.

Attorneys have more options than ever before to pick from when kitting out their law firm technology platform.

Of course, that only makes the choice harder. Wading through the noise, to get to what you really want is only more difficult now.

Cloud options and integrations abound.

So, how do you input the right data, and output the right response?

Well, we brought Rachel Edwards, from the Oregon State Bar’s Professional Liability Fund, to talk about how to whittle things down effectively.

We jumped right into it, by discussing what law firms should be looking for in software products (7:11), before addressing what a checklist for picking software might look like (12:21).

After that, Rachel talked about how law firms can effectively integrate different software tools (17:39), including how to implement best practices in that regard (21:24).

Rachel also answered the big question: With all of these tech options available, how should lawyers manage their tech budget, so that it doesn’t get out of control? (19:32)

Finally, we put a nice bow on things, by covering the non-legaltech software that attorneys still need to run a successful business (24:34).

It’s probably why we’re all here: How do you pick law firm software? Get some answers, in this robust and far-reaching discussion.
