After the beginning of the year and especially after Special Counsel Hur’s comments about Biden’s memory, people started flooding the market. It’s not just the Department of Justice, it’s other agencies as well.
It’s more about increased uncertainty about the future and if President Biden is not reelected, the possibility of a major house cleaning.
— Dan Binstock, a partner at Garrison, a D.C.-headquartered search firm, in comments given to the National Law Journal on the uptick in recent weeks of candidates from federal government positions looking to make a potential move. Binstock went on to say that some firms have “receiv[ed] five to six resumes a day from DOJ candidates.”
