Old friends and new celebrate at the first in-person ABA Annual Meeting since COVID-19 (photo gallery)

After being presented in an all-virtual format in 2020 and a hybrid format in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, attendees are celebrating in person for the 2022 ABA Annual Meeting.
The ABA once again brought lawyers and other legal professionals together for an entirely in-person annual meeting in Chicago.
We captured some of the camaraderie of this year’s meeting among friends and colleagues—which included plenty of in-person reunions, hugs, selfies and some dancing.
The 2022 ABA Annual Meeting runs from Wednesday, Aug. 3, through Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. It features a full slate of special programs, educational sessions and governance meetings. Attendees also will find an array of social events and networking opportunities at the meeting headquarters hotel and other locations downtown.
