Alex Hamzy
Police Officer Alex Hamzy and Sergeant Dustin Demonte were shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call at a residence near Redstone Hill Road and Birch Street in Bristol at about 11:00 pm.
A third officer was also shot and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The subject was shot and killed during the incident.
Officer Hamzy had served with the Bristol Police Department for eight years. He is survived by his wife.
